As Pilot Officer 41543 in the RAF he was killed in action on 25th July 1940, aged 23.  He had taken his Hurricane up over Oakridge, Gloucester to intercept a German bomber on a bombing raid.

1915 Register of Electors Print E-mail

In 1915 it comes under Barkston Ash, as Adel cum Eccup Polling District in the Otley Electoral Division.

The 1915 electoral register (as previous) had a property qualification - enabling people who lived elsewhere to be on the register e.g.
